After I got the most important things done for my blog I can finally start with the things I want to do: writing posts.

I created this blog to share with you my impressions from foreign countries, stories from my own country, experiences in programming and more.

However I have already collected quite some memories and also photos over the years and I do not want to withhold those from you, but it somehow feels awkward to write a post now about something that happened years ago and it even seems more awkward to see those posts in a random order in the timeline. After all this blog will become my diary in some way.

This is why I decided on “backdating” those posts. That means I will set the ‘written on’ date to a date in the past maybe a day or a few after the photos were taken, so the posts will appear in chronological order.
